Jeremia 5:22

SV	Zult gijlieden Mij niet vrezen? spreekt de HEERE; zult gij voor Mijn aangezicht niet beven? Die der zee het zand tot een paal gesteld heb, met een eeuwige inzetting, dat zij daarover niet zal gaan; ofschoon haar golven zich bewegen, zo zullen zij toch niet vermogen, ofschoon zij bruisen, zo zullen zij toch daarover niet gaan.
WLC	הַאֹותִ֨י לֹא־תִירָ֜אוּ נְאֻם־יְהֹוָ֗ה אִ֤ם מִפָּנַי֙ לֹ֣א תָחִ֔ילוּ אֲשֶׁר־שַׂ֤מְתִּי חֹול֙ גְּב֣וּל לַיָּ֔ם חָק־עֹולָ֖ם וְלֹ֣א יַעַבְרֶ֑נְהוּ וַיִּֽתְגָּעֲשׁוּ֙ וְלֹ֣א יוּכָ֔לוּ וְהָמ֥וּ גַלָּ֖יו וְלֹ֥א יַעַבְרֻֽנְהוּ׃
Trans.	ha’wōṯî lō’-ṯîrā’û nə’um-JHWH ’im mipānay lō’ ṯāḥîlû ’ăšer-śamətî ḥwōl gəḇûl layyām ḥāq-‘wōlām wəlō’ y^a‘aḇərenəhû wayyiṯəgā‘ăšû wəlō’ yûḵālû wəhāmû ḡallāyw wəlō’ y^a‘aḇərunəhû:

AC	כב האותי לא תיראו נאם יהוה אם מפני לא תחילו אשר שמתי חול גבול לים חק עולם ולא יעברנהו ויתגעשו ולא יוכלו והמו גליו ולא יעברנהו
ASV	Fear ye not me? saith Jehovah: will ye not tremble at my presence, who have placed the sand for the bound of the sea, by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it? and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail; though they roar, yet can they not pass over it.
BE	Have you no fear of me? says the Lord; will you not be shaking with fear before me, who have put the sand as a limit for the sea, by an eternal order, so that it may not go past it? and though it is ever in motion, it is not able to have its way; though the sound of its waves is loud, they are not able to go past it.
Darby	Will ye not fear me? saith Jehovah. Will ye not tremble at my presence, who have set the sand a bound for the sea by a perpetual decree, and it shall not pass it? and its waves toss themselves, but they do not prevail; and they roar, yet can they not pass over it?
ELB05	Wollt ihr mich nicht fürchten, spricht Jehova, und vor mir nicht zittern? Der ich dem Meere Sand zur Grenze gesetzt habe, eine ewige Schranke, die es nicht überschreiten wird; und es regen sich seine Wogen, aber sie vermögen nichts, und sie brausen, aber überschreiten sie nicht.
LSG	Ne me craindrez-vous pas, dit l'Eternel, Ne tremblerez-vous pas devant moi? C'est moi qui ai donné à la mer le sable pour limite, Limite éternelle qu'elle ne doit pas franchir; Ses flots s'agitent, mais ils sont impuissants; Ils mugissent, mais ils ne la franchissent pas.
Sch	Mich wollt ihr nicht fürchten, spricht der HERR, vor mir nicht erzittern, der ich dem Meere den Sand zur Grenze gesetzt habe, zur ewigen Schranke, die es nicht überschreiten darf? Wenn sich seine Wogen auch dagegen auflehnen, so sind sie doch machtlos; wenn auch seine Wellen toben, können sie dieselben nicht überschreiten.
